Trowbridge - Oshawa

This basement renovation was a complete refresh from the inside out. We removed all existing drywall to properly locate and fix the leak, then rebuilt the space with clean finishes to make it feel like new again. After the repairs, we upgraded the basement with new flooring, fresh paint throughout, and modern pot lights, instantly making the space brighter, cleaner, and more welcoming.

To maximize function in every corner, we also designed a clever custom feature: since the homeowner has a cat, we used the space beneath the staircase to create a cozy pet nook. We built a small arched door opening so the cat has its own private little “room” — a fun and thoughtful touch that turns unused space into something practical and personal.

The result is a basement that feels fresh, updated, and thoughtfully designed, with smart details that make the space truly livable for the whole family.
